Two days of beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’, music listenin’ and barbeque eatin’. Your admission ($35, $45, $59, $70, $69, $120), buys you a sampling glass so you can enjoy an ALL-YOU-CARE-TO-TASTE sampling of beer and bourbon. IMAGINE Family Day: Prince Georges African American Museum and Cultural Center’s Festival and Book Fair is Saturday, June 16th 2018, 2-6pm. Free admission to this day of fun for the entire family, with interactive, and educational community festivities designed to celebrate the cultural and artistic diversity in Prince George’s County. The event will include special guests Callaloo: Cultural Literacy for Kids and Prince George’s Children’s Theater. The event will feature DJ Super Sid, vendor market & book fair, moon bounce, face painting, early keepers workshop, live art activity, and food trucks.
Hyfest in Hyattsville at Polka Dot Park, 4320 Hamilton Street, Hyattsville MD 20781. HyFest is a live music showcase coming to Polka Dot Park in Hyattsville on June 16. The event is being put together by a group of local musicians focused on highlighting local music and the local arts scene. Good Music + Cold Drinks $15 donation* (Tickets also available at the door)
